How can we help?
Getting started
What MoleSeek does and your first list in two minutes.
What MoleSeek doesYou name a market, and MoleSeek finds the businesses in it, reads their websites for emails, phones and socials, checks the emails, and ranks each business with an opportunity score.
- Every search runs live, so the list is current the day you pull it. Each lead shows when its contact details were last checked.
- Businesses with and without websites are both included. Whether a business has a website is one signal among several.
Run your first searchOpen Workspace, describe who you want to reach in one line, and press Find leads.
- 1Go to Workspace.
- 2In Smart Search, type a category and a place, for example "HVAC contractors in Dallas with an email".
- 3Set the limit slider to how many leads you want (5 to 100).
- 4Press Find leads. A search usually takes under a minute.
- 5The new leads appear in Your leads, below the search box.
Tell MoleSeek what you sellYour seller type changes how leads are scored, so a business that is a hot prospect for a web designer can rank lower for a wholesaler.
- 1Answer the "What do you sell?" question on Workspace, or open Settings.
- 2Pick one: Digital services, Software / B2B SaaS, Manufacturer / wholesaler, Professional services, or Not sure yet.
- 3You can change it at any time. New scores use the new choice.
Searching
Smart Search, Manual Search, limits and what a search costs.
Smart Search: ask in plain languageWrite who you want the way you would say it. MoleSeek works out the category, the place and any filters, such as "with an email" or "without a website".
- 1Name a category and a place: "dentists in Austin, TX", "roofing companies in Manchester, UK".
- 2Add conditions if you want them: "with an email", "rated below 4.0", "without a website".
- 3Press Find leads.
- One category and one place per search gives the best results.
- Conditions that depend on a business's website (email, WhatsApp, Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, SSL) are checked after the sites are read, so a strict combination can return fewer leads than the limit.
- If Smart Search is busy, you will see a message and no credits are used. Try again in a few seconds.
Manual Search: category and location fieldsSwitch to Manual Search to type the category and the location in two separate fields.
- 1Click Manual Search above the search box.
- 2Fill in Category (e.g. "HVAC contractors") and Location (e.g. "Austin, TX").
- 3Set the limit and press search.
What a search costsOne credit per lead found and saved. A search that finds nothing costs nothing.
- On the Free plan a search that returns results uses at least 5 credits. On paid plans the minimum is 1.
- The limit slider caps how many leads, and so how many credits, one search can use.
- Searches answered from the verified cache when live search is unavailable are free.
Why a search returned few or no leadsUsually the place is too small, the category too narrow, or the conditions too strict.
- 1Try a wider place: a city instead of a neighbourhood, or a state or county.
- 2Use a broader category: "dentists" instead of "pediatric orthodontists".
- 3Drop one condition at a time, especially email, WhatsApp or pixel conditions.
- 4Raise the limit slider.
- A search with no results never uses credits, so it is safe to try variations.
Working your leads
Filters, the lead drawer, scores and saving.
Filter the leads you already haveFiltering never runs a new search and never uses credits. It only narrows the list you already have.
- 1Under Your leads, type into "Filter your leads", e.g. "plumbers in Austin without a website but with an email", and press Filter.
- 2Or click a quick filter: Hot prospects, No website, No WhatsApp, Not advertising, No SSL, Has email. They stack.
- 3Open More filters for score, email, website, SSL, site down, Meta Pixel, WhatsApp, social profiles, Google rating, city, category and sort order.
- 4Press Clear filters to see everything again.
Open a leadClick a business to open its drawer: contact details, socials, the signals behind its score, its website and its map location.
- Use Validate email to check the mailbox itself before you write. Free accounts get 10 mailbox checks a day, Pro and Lifetime 100, Agency 300; a lead checked in the last 30 days keeps its result.
- The Website tab shows the site inside MoleSeek. Some sites block this; use Open in new tab.
- Each lead shows when its contact details were last checked.
- When leads have not been checked for 30 days, Workspace offers to re-check the oldest. A re-check is free when nothing changed; a lead with new contact details uses one credit.
How the opportunity score worksEach lead is scored from 0 to 100 from signals such as website, SSL, WhatsApp, Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, rating and reviews. 70 and above is a hot prospect.
- The score is weighted by what you sell (your seller type in Settings).
- The lead drawer lists each signal and the points it added.
What the email statuses meanEmails are checked against their mail server without sending anything. Verified means the address answered; domain active means the domain accepts mail; catch-all means the server accepts any address, so delivery is not certain.
Save leads and use foldersStar a lead to keep it in Saved. Put leads into folders to group them your way.
- 1Click the star on any lead to save it. Saved leads are on the Saved page.
- 2To file several at once, tick them, choose Add to folder, and pick a folder or create a new one.
- 3Every search also gets its own folder automatically, under Smart Searches, so you can see which leads came from which search.
- 4Rename or delete folders from the folder bar. Deleting a folder does not delete its leads.
Outreach and export
Drafts, sending from Gmail, WhatsApp, CSV, Excel and Google Sheets.
Write an email or WhatsApp draftOpen a lead and use the outreach panel. MoleSeek drafts a message that mentions what that business is missing, using your pitch and signature from Settings.
- 1Fill in your role, your pitch and your signature in Settings → AI Outreach Customization.
- 2Open a lead and use the outreach section: draft an email, or a WhatsApp message.
- 3Pick the message language: English, Turkish, Spanish, German or French.
- 4Edit if you like, then open it in your mail app or WhatsApp.
- On the Free plan you see the start of each draft. Paid plans show the full draft.
Send from your Gmail accountConnect Gmail in Settings to send drafts with one click from your own address.
- 1Open Settings → Email accounts.
- 2Click Connect Gmail and approve access.
- 3Back on a lead, the composer now offers your account as the sender.
- Sending from your inbox is on paid plans. On Free, open the draft in your mail app.
- To protect your inbox from spam flags, MoleSeek sends at most 50 emails per 24 hours (150 on Agency) and will not email the same business twice within 7 days.
- Every email gets a one-line opt-out ("reply no thanks"). Add your business postal address to your signature: US and UK rules require it.
- Addresses that failed verification are not sent to.
- Outlook is not available yet.
- WhatsApp messages always open in your own WhatsApp; you press send yourself.
Export your leadsSelect leads and export them as an Excel or CSV file, or send them to Google Sheets.
- 1Tick the leads you want, or select all on the page.
- 2Open Download and choose Excel / CSV, or send them to Google Sheets.
- 3The file includes contact details, socials, score, signals, rating and the last-checked date.
- The Free plan exports 5 rows at a time. Paid plans export everything.
- CRM exports (HubSpot, Pipedrive and others) are not available yet.
